Since May, China’s export license review process has gradually become more efficient after several adjustments.
Compared with the early stage of implementation, the review requirements have become more practical. General mistakes in application documents can now be communicated and corrected more efficiently. The previous mandatory 3-day delay for secondary review has also been removed, and most applications with complete documents can now be approved within around 3 working days.
Meanwhile, relevant departments have strengthened training for review staff, improving their understanding of foreign trade terms and export documentation. This helps reduce unnecessary communication and speeds up the approval process.
With these improvements, exporters can arrange production and shipment schedules more efficiently, providing a more stable export environment for international customers.
